5 Gentle Ways to Reconnect with Yourself This Mother’s Day (Plus a Special Meditation Gift)
Mother’s Day is often filled with celebrations, but it can also bring up a mix of emotions—especially if you’re navigating pregnancy, postpartum, fertility journeys, or grief.
Wherever you find yourself this season, I invite you to carve out a little space just for you. A moment to breathe. A moment to reconnect with your heart and your body. Here are five gentle ways to nurture yourself this Mother’s Day.
1. Begin with Breath
Take five minutes to simply breathe. Inhale deeply into your belly, exhale slowly through your mouth. Let each breath be an act of love—a softening, a releasing. You don’t need anything fancy—just your breath and your presence.
2. Move Your Body with Kindness
Movement doesn’t have to be strenuous to be healing. Try a few gentle stretches, a short fertility or prenatal yoga flow, or simply roll your shoulders and sway your hips. Listen to what your body is asking for today.
(P.S. You can find a 13-minute Prenatal Yoga for Relaxation & Hip Opening here and a 45-minute therapeutic yoga session for spring renewal here if you need some inspiration.)
3. Create a Simple Gratitude Ritual
Write down three things you’re grateful for today. They can be big or small—your morning tea, the sound of birds, the strength in your legs. Gratitude grounds us in what is real, steady, and nurturing.
4. Nourish Yourself Mindfully
Prepare a meal or snack you love and eat it slowly, savoring each bite. Tune into your senses. Let this be an act of mindfulness and self-love, not just nourishment.
5. Gift Yourself Stillness with Meditation
One of the most healing gifts you can offer yourself today is stillness.
To support you, I recorded a special Guided Mother’s Day Meditation designed to help you reconnect with your strength, your softness, and your sacred journey.

A Letter to the Mama Reading This
Dear beautiful soul,
Wherever you are in your journey—whether you are carrying life within you, cradling dreams in your heart, healing after loss, or mothering others in ways unseen—you are enough.
You are worthy of celebration.
You are worthy of rest.
You are worthy of deep, unwavering love.
Today, I hope you remember:
You are not alone.
You are so loved.
And you are doing an incredible job.
Happy Mother’s Day.
With all my heart,
Michelle
